Who it is for
Small businesses, offices, nonprofits, and restaurant or accounting groups that do not have an in-house IT person, or whose IT person is stretched thin. I spent years as the main IT and systems resource for a restaurant-accounting firm, so I am used to explaining technical problems to people who just want their work to go smoothly.
What I can help with
Microsoft 365 setup and administration
User accounts, licences, permissions, Teams and SharePoint spaces, and the sign-in and access rules behind them.
Email and sign-in security
Multi-factor sign-in rolled out across a team, and mail problems such as phishing and spam traced and sorted out.
Everyday support and equipment
Remote help for people on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android; choosing and setting up computers, printers and other office equipment; getting new people started and removing access when someone leaves; and small-office networks, domains and email hosting.
Restaurant and accounting-system checks
Running and reviewing routine automation checks in restaurant accounting software such as Restaurant365, and working with a programmer when something needs correcting.
Documentation and handover
Plain, step-by-step write-ups of how your systems work, and training so the next person can pick them up.
